The Baltic

Beginning from the year 2002 our company tries to seriously extend its presence in the Baltic market. At present via the Baltic ports we deliver to our customers 350.000 tons of qualitative coal per month.

The coal transshipment is effected via such Baltic ports as Riga (Latvia), Ventspils (Latvia), Vysotsk (Russia). The main characteristics of these ports are indicated in the map which you may find below. From these ports the coal is delivered to such countries as Germany, the United Kingdom, Finland, Denmark, France, USA and others.

In 2005 our company is planning to sell via the Baltic ports approximately 4 million mt of coal with high and low volatiles.

The Black Sea

MIR Trade has been delivering the coal via the ports of the Black and Azov seas from the beginning of its business activities. Practically 100% of the sized coal and 40% of steam coal is delivered by our company via these ports to Turkey, Italy, Romania, Greece, Spain, Morocco, France and others.

Nowadays the coal transshipment is effected via the ports of Yuzhny (Ukraine), Mariupol (Ukraine), Kerch (Ukraine) and Yeisk (Russia). The characteristics of these ports are indicated in the map which you may find below.

The port of Yuzhny is the most modern and preferable port we co-operate with. The transshipment of the coal belonging to MIR Trade via this port makes approximately 300.000 mt per month. In the nearest future we are planning to increase the coal transshipment in the ports of the Black sea and in 2005 the coal sales via these ports will make more than 4 million mt of which the sized coal will make around 1,5 million mt.
